Growing up in New Zealand, Annabel was a keen ‘jack of all sports’, hiking mountains, wind surfing and competing in horse events. She has Dr Annabel Carter grew up in New Zealand where she pursued a host of sports from event horse riding to windsurfing and ‘tramping’ (the Kiwi version of hiking). Prior to arriving in Bermuda she was twice a medic on the charitable Mt Everest Marathon, and in the lifetime spent here has served as Chief Medical Officer for the Challenger ATP Tennis Tournament, and the annual International Rugby Classic, and as Medical Director for the Bermuda IslandGames and the 2018 /2019 World Triathlon Series. She attended the 2012 and 2016 Paralympic Games in London and Rio as Bermuda’s team physician.
