Growing up in New Zealand, Dr Annabel Carter was a keen ‘jack of all sports’: competing in horse events, wind surfing and ‘tramping’ (the Kiwi version of hiking).

Prior to arriving in Bermuda she was twice a medic on the charitable Mt Everest Marathon, and in the lifetime spent here has served as Chief Medical Officer for the Challenger ATP Tennis Tournament, and the annual International Rugby Classic, and as Medical Director for the Bermuda Island Games and the 2018 /2019 World Triathlon Series. She attended the 2012 and 2016 Paralympic Games in London and Rio as Bermuda’s team physician.
